Copper Mountain

We went to Copper Mountain last weekend to do the digglers. You ride a scooter down the mountain, it's super fun. We did it last year and were really looking forward to doing it again and taking my dad and Bethany. We get up there and find out that there are no digglers that day because of the Warrior Dash (a crazy race up the mountain, everyone wears a weird costume and there are obstacles, fire and they get all muddy...it was interesting). I was so bummed! We did some other fun things, but it wasn't the digglers:(

Mason 4 Months

Mason is 4 months old today!

Wow! 4 months has gone fast. The first 4 months of Alyssa's life felt a lot longer than Mason's. I really, really love this age. He is so expressive and smiley, happy and content most of the time. He is rolling over from his tummy to his back and has gone back to front once or twice. He loves to lay on his side with his neck craned to the side. He still isn't sleeping as well as I'd like. He's so inconsistent, very unpredictable as to how long he'll sleep. He did good last night, 8:30 to 4:30 and 4:30 to 7:30, that is definitely manageable. Mason is just the sweetest little guy!

I tried to get some outside shots of the kids, but as you can see it didn't go that well. I think it was too bright for Mason. I just love our back yard and the view so I thought I'd try to capture a summer moment in our yard.

First Bronco Party

The Broncos had their first preseason game on Sunday so we had the Walker clan over for the first of many Bronco parties. Most of us were sporting our Walker 84 jersies, I think we all have one except Mason and baby cousin. Really looking forward to football season!

Alyssa and Mason

I've taken pictures of them in these outfits a few times. It's so neat to see how much Mason has grown. He won't fit in this onesie much longer though.

Cave of the Winds

Bethany worked at Cave of the Winds this summer so she took us there to check it out. Alyssa wasn't thrilled with the tour of the cave, she kept saying, "I want to go home." I think it may have been because she didn't feel good and a little because she was scared. I thought it was pretty cool.

They had this station where they could take a bag of "dirt" and pan for gems. Alyssa loved this. She was so excited to find the little rocks.

Mason's first time in the jumparoo. I think he's going to like it as much as his sister. He's getting so big!

More pool time at Auntie Sarah's pool. This time Daddy got to come.

Backyard Fun

This is Alyssa's new swing set. Nate and I spent a whole day putting it together. It's nice for her to have something to play on in our yard. Now she just needs to learn to pump so I don't have to be out there with her all the time :)

I got a croquet set for my birthday. I love to play and we have a great yard for it.

A few cute ones of Mason man.

Hula Girl

My family was in Hawaii last week and Alyssa was so excited that they brought her a hula outfit. She was dancing and wiggling all over the house yesterday. She was pretty darn cute. I'm not sure that daddy approves of the bare belly though :)
