Beach video

Alyssa was building sand castles with my dad and she would get really excited when a wave would hit it and the wall would hold. She would yell "it held! it held!". So thats what she's saying as she runs away, just in case you can't hear what she's saying.

Kauai!

So there are a lot of pictures....just couldn't weed any out. Kauai was awesome! Beautiful weather, beautiful place, good time with the fam, Alyssa loved her first beach experience, it was almost perfect....except Nate wasn't there :( Nate and I went there on our honeymoon so there were a lot of memories, it was fun to be there again, it just would have been better with Nate. We did a ton of stuff, my family is very go go go on vacation. One of my favorte things we did was surfing. I don't have any pics of that yet but when I get them I'll post them. It was so much fun. Went to the beach everyday, went snorkeling, kayaking, to a luau, ya know all that fun stuff. Now Nate is trying to convince me we should live there. I'm still not so sure, but it's a great place to visit!

Here is Alyssa "reading" a book, it's amazing what great memories kids have....she knew some of the right words for the right pages and I hadn't read her that book in weeks!

Summer Time!

We had an early summer here in WA this year. It was beautiful the last two weeks in May, and now that it's June and more officially summer time, it's been cooler and cloudy. Oh well, we definitely took advantage of the weather while we had it. We set up the wading pool and Alyssa spent a little bit of every day playing. She had her freind Addison over for some pool time too.

Here are a few picture of our time in Colorado. We had a great time seeing family and visiting with friends we haven't seen in a while. I'm so glad that we have such a great place to go when nate is gone. It's really a blessing!

Back in WA

Well, we're back! I'm horrible at blogging while I'm away, so I have a ton of pics to post. We had a great time visiting family and we got to see a lot of friends as well. Alyssa was spoiled with all the attention and has been very needy of my attention the last two days. I don't have all my pictures ready, but I have a quick video. Nate, now you can see your "little princess", she's all girl I'm telling you. (She is singing Once upon a Dream from Sleeping Beauty)
